Dr. Rajan Mehta
Dr. Rajan Mehta is a public health physician who has spent his career addressing child malnutrition and community health in low-resource settings. Before joining APYCF, he led nutrition programs across South Asia for the World Health Organization and Save the Children.
He designed APYCF's Child Nutrition & Community Health program, which now provides daily supplementary feeding to nearly 3,900 children and has achieved a 78% recovery rate for cases of moderate acute malnutrition. His approach emphasizes community health workers and locally available foods over imported solutions.
Rajan holds an MD and a Master of Public Health, and continues to publish on community-based therapeutic feeding.
